General Hospital Comings & Goings: Britt Westbourne Dead & Gone as Hook Killer’s Latest Victim
Recently on GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has fallen victim to The Hook Killer. She was at the docks after her epic birthday party. Britt planned to leave Port Charles so that her family and friends would not see her health deteriorate due to Huntington’s.
However, after saving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from The Hook Killer, Britt had a change of heart. Instead, she returned to The Haunted Star to be with her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), recalls General Hospital recaps.
But then Britt found out that she didn’t escape the killer unscathed. Instead, the hook clawed at her and the poison poisoned her. Unfortunately, Britt she died in her mother’s arms before help arrived.
News of Britt Westbourne’s death continues to spread through Port Chuck and people are devastated. Especially her best friend Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). And her family, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Although General Hospital fans are sad, Britt’s departure was the right thing for her co-star Kelly Thiebaud. She loved being a part of it GH, and it broke her heart to leave. But being on an ABC series full-time takes a lot of time and commitment.
And Kelly wants to focus on other projects, such as film and theater. He is also in a relationship and wants to be closer to his partner. So this was the right time Kelly to leave the show like Britt. But the audience will miss him a lot.
GH Casting News: Marcus Coloma Out as Nikolas Cassadine
New General Hospital casting updates confirm Marcus Coloma is set to exit as brooding Prince Nikolas Cassadine in late January. He was recently released and refused to film his final scenes due to health issues. It is still unclear whether it will be written off or redesigned.

Currently, there is a lot of drama. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) carrying her child. Plus, his soon-to-be ex-wife Ava Jerome (Maura West) is out for revenge.
And his life is in danger if he disobeys him evil uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). There really is a lot going on with the dark prince. So General Hospital the showrunners may choose to recast.
Nikolas Recast coming to General Hospital?
Recent GH spoilers and casting updates suspect that a Nikolas recast could be on the way. First, of course fans are hoping for OG Nik, Tyler Christopher, step back into the role. But if that’s not possible, there are other options.
Recently, Adam Huss has stood up for Marcus twice General Hospital. And it received quite a good response from the fans. Also, Stephen Martines played Nikolas at the time, as did Nick Stabile. So the powers that be have several options.
